When selecting a door design, several key factors come into play: the grain orientation (horizontal or vertical), lamella configuration (variable or fixed width), and the number of lamellas per door. It’s also essential to define the overall look. MADERA offers doors with a natural plank aesthetic, featuring rich color variation between lamellas—ideal for pairing with wall paneling or other wood elements that share a similar plank look. Alternatively, for a more uniform appearance, we can sort lamellas by color to create doors with minimal variation.

Unlike standard sliced veneers, MADERA doors are crafted with solid 3mm lamellas, so natural variation in color and grain between lamellas is expected and celebrated. This is the hallmark of a truly unique MADERA door.
